Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years cytotechnologist experience
- ASCP certification
- Valid New York State license
- Experience with EBUS, EUS, and thyroid FNA procedures
- Experience using EPIC electronic health record
Responsibilities:
- Perform cytology specimen preparation, screening, and interpretation consistent with institutional and regulatory standards
- Process and evaluate EBUS, EUS, and thyroid FNA specimens
- Document findings and communicate results via EPIC
- Maintain quality control, participate in proficiency testing, and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with pathology, lab staff, and clinical teams as needed
Credentials required before start:
- ASCP certification
- NY State cytotechnologist license
- Verification of 5+ years relevant experience
- EPIC competency (or demonstrated experience)
