Patient population & volume

• Adults, including LGBTQ community and people living with HIV/AIDS
• Typical daily census: 15–18 patients
• Case mix: Outpatient HIV primary care and general primary care conditions

Clinical & administrative responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient HIV primary care: diagnose, treat, and manage HIV/AIDS and related primary care conditions
• Serve as Medical Director with clinical leadership and administrative oversight
• Participate in shared call schedule
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for underserved populations

Facility & support

• 100% outpatient setting
• On-site support: Practice Manager, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses
• Research focus: HIV and LGBTQ health

Qualifications

• Active California MD or DO license
• Board specialty: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adult-Gerontology, or Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA license and furnishing license
• Current CPR/BLS
• AAHIVM certification required within 18 months of hire
• Prior outpatient HIV/AIDS diagnosis and treatment experience
• Comfortable managing a panel of ~15–18 patients per day
