Requirements:
- Valid, active Licensed Practical Nurse state license
- BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Assess, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
- Monitor and document vital signs continuously as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate care plans
- Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
