Join a perioperative team in Lawton, OK for a 13-week contract starting Aug 17, 2026. This day-shift position (36 hours/week) offers $2,052 per 36-hour period.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Current Oklahoma RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, preferably in the operating room/perioperative area

Overview of responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care across the perioperative setting, serving as a patient advocate and upholding surgical nursing standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments (including pediatric and geriatric patients), develop nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans, and conduct reassessments per policy.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and pain assessment/management practices.
• Prioritize and organize workload, adapt to changing assignments, and coordinate care across multiple patients and disciplines.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to professional nursing practice; complete required departmental orientation and age-specific training.
