Overview
Permanent, full-time Medical Director position based in Fort Worth, TX supporting a 100% outpatient HIV primary care clinic. Clinical and administrative responsibilities with shared on-call duties. Standard schedule is Monday–Friday (day shifts) with participation in a shared call rotation.

Patient Population & Volume
Provide care for adults, including LGBTQ patients and people living with HIV/AIDS. Typical daily patient load is 15–18 patients in an outpatient HIV primary care setting.

Clinical Setting & Team
Clinic-focused practice with support from a practice manager, medical assistants, and registered nurses. Research emphasis on HIV and LGBTQ health.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary (varies by location) with additional incentives: retention bonus up to $100,000; quarterly bonuses up to $3,500; bi-weekly productivity bonuses; sign-on bonus available; relocation reimbursement up to $10,000. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) or 457(b) retirement plan, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and a CME stipend.

Qualifications
Active MD or DO license (California) required. Board specialty in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adult-Gerontology, or Infectious Disease. Valid DEA and furnishing licenses. Current CPR/BLS certification; AAHIVM certification required within 18 months of hire. Demonstrated experience diagnosing and managing HIV/AIDS in the outpatient setting. Comfortable managing a clinic census of 15–18 patients per day.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient HIV primary care and management of primary care conditions.
  • Serve as clinical leader and Medical Director, overseeing quality of care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in shared on-call coverage.
  • Deliver culturally competent, compassionate care to underserved populations, including the LGBTQ community.
