Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Cary, NC (14-Week Local Assignment)

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a welcoming team in Cary, NC on a 14-week contract (non-travel). The assignment begins August 10, 2026, with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This local role offers $1,848 for a 35-hour week.

What you’ll need

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do
You’ll evaluate patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to pinpoint challenges and set meaningful goals. From there you’ll design and deliver individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills. You’ll recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices, teach patients and their families strategies for independence and condition management, and continuously document progress. Collaboration with the rest of the multidisciplinary care team is a key part of the role.
