Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Manchester, NH (7AM–7PM or 7PM–7AM)

We’re looking for a locum OB/GYN to cover shifts in Manchester, NH. The role offers a flexible schedule with two 12-hour shift options: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM. Day-shift providers take the backup pager for nights, though call-ins are uncommon. There are also occasional 24-hour shift opportunities.

You’ll work in a 24/7 midwife model with continuous in-house coverage alongside a midwife. Typical duties include supervising residents, providing OB/GYN coverage for the emergency department, and helping manage roughly 1,000 deliveries per year (about 2–3 deliveries daily on average). You should be comfortable performing circumcisions and D&C procedures for miscarriage management; the hospital does not perform terminations.

Requirements:

• Board certified in OB/GYN
• Active New Hampshire medical license, or willingness to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, and a DEA registration

Manchester is New Hampshire’s largest city and offers a nice balance of urban amenities and outdoor access—think charming downtown spots, cultural attractions, and easy trips to the White Mountains or the Atlantic coast.
