Adelphi is looking for a reliable pharmacy technician to join the onsite team at a correctional healthcare facility in Glenville, West Virginia. You’ll work inside a secure federal environment, supporting the pharmacist and helping keep daily pharmacy operations running smoothly. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on medication preparation, inventory control, accurate documentation, and adherence to clinical, privacy, and institutional security standards.

Must-haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician internship
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
What you’ll do
- Assist the pharmacist with ordering, receiving, stocking, storing and dispensing medications
- Prepare pill-line medication cards and unit-dose medications
- Maintain medication supplies in the pharmacy, crash carts, emergency bags and automated dispensing systems
- Monitor expiration dates and remove outdated stock according to policy
- Maintain narcotic counts and needle/syringe inventories
- Restock and audit night-stock cabinets and automated systems
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized and safe
- Use electronic medical records and pharmacy computer systems for documentation
- Handle scheduling, scanning, filing, call-outs and stock records
- Greet patients and explain pharmacy procedures when appropriate
- Participate in quality assurance and performance-improvement activities
- Follow medication safety, infection-control, privacy and security protocols
- Maintain professional boundaries and immediately report any security concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
