Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician — Tacoma/Seattle Area (Outpatient, Team-Based)

Location: Seattle, Washington (locum tenens)

Compensation: $100/hour + travel

Overview
Board-certified Family Medicine physician needed for a growing, team-based primary care practice. Ideal for clinicians who emphasize preventive, relationship-based, whole-person care. No inpatient duties.

Clinical Model and Schedule

• Panel: 10–15 patients per day
• Appointment lengths: 20–60 minutes
• Collaborative, team-based care with dedicated clinical support, including health coaches
• Focus on preventive and value-based care

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine: evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Deliver preventive care, screenings, and health maintenance
• Create individualized, whole-person treatment plans and coordinate specialty referrals
• Counsel patients on wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with health coaches and interdisciplinary team members
• Complete timely, accurate electronic medical records and apply appropriate medical coding (including Medicare Advantage and HCC)

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certified (ABFM, ABIM, or AOA)
• Minimum 3 years primary care experience
• Current, unrestricted Washington medical license or ability to obtain
• Current DEA registration
• Experience in team-based primary care; EMR experience preferred
