Overview
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a rural primary care practice in Colebrook, New Hampshire. Outpatient role with an independent, manageable patient panel, no weekends or holiday shifts, and a collaborative clinical team. Opportunities for quality improvement and community health work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care: history and physicals, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Manage acute and chronic conditions; develop individualized care plans
- Provide preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, and screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing; communicate results to patients
- Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and allied health staff
- Educate patients and families on prevention, nutrition, lifestyle, and self-care
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Comfortable managing an independent outpatient panel in a rural setting
