Lead Urgent Care NP/PA — Site Clinical Lead in Waterville, ME (Leadership + $80–$85/hr)

We are seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as Lead Provider in Waterville, ME. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced APP who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered urgent care while mentoring clinical staff and promoting a collaborative, efficient, and safety-focused team culture.

Position overview:

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced ambulatory setting
• Serve as the clinical leader for on-site clinical staff, ensuring consistent, evidence-based practice
• Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals; provide precepting and professional development
• Maintain high clinical standards, uphold regulatory and protocol compliance, and drive continuous quality improvement
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Certification by a recognized NP or PA certifying body
• Active Maine license (or eligibility for Maine licensure)
• Unrestricted DEA registration (must be obtained and maintained)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus
