Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Type: On-site locum, minimum 6 months
Schedule and Site
- Shifts: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- No call
- 12-bed Emergency Department
- Typical census: <30 patients/day
- Typical admissions: <10/day
- Full scope ED practice; perform standard emergency procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Triage, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and disposition emergency patients
- Manage acute and emergent medical conditions
- Perform emergency procedures as indicated, including procedural sedation, endotracheal intubation, and central line placement
- Coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, and follow-up care
- Maintain timely, accurate medical documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency
- ABEM certification or eligibility required
- Current Tennessee medical license
