Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician — Primary Care (Tacoma, WA)

We’re looking for a board-certified family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage who values preventive medicine, relationship-based care, and collaborative, value-driven approaches to improving outcomes.

• A comfortable patient load (about 10–15 patients per day) with extended visit times (20–60 minutes) so you can listen, diagnose, and manage effectively.

What we’re looking for:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency (Family Medicine preferred; Internal Medicine considered).
• Current board certification (ABFM, ABIM, or AOA) and at least 3 years of primary care experience.
• Current, unrestricted Washington medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and active DEA registration.
• Negative TB test documented within 12 months of start date.
• Experience working in team-based care and familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Knowledge of medical coding and documentation, including Medicare Advantage and HCC coding, and comfort using Google Workspace.
