Job Description
We are seeking a locum Urology Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage across two facilities in Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a focused call assignment with APP support and low patient volumes.
Overview
- Inpatient Census: 0–5
- Outpatient Census: 2–5
- Evaluate and manage emergent and urgent urologic conditions.
- Provide urologic consultations and treatment recommendations.
- See appropriate urgent/emergent outpatient clinic patients when clinically feasible.
- Help facilitate appropriate patient management and reduce avoidable Emergency Department transfers when outpatient treatment is appropriate.
- Coordinate with Emergency Department, primary care, and other specialty teams.
- Respond to call needs within 20 minutes.
- Complete all Epic documentation in real time.
