Job Description
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for outpatient locum tenens coverage in Alabama. This is a community health center opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule, no call, and a manageable patient volume.
Overview
- Start ASAP
- 3–6 months assignment with option to extend
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No call
- 17–20 patients/day
- All ages, with many pediatric patients
- Scheduled appointments
- MA and LPN office support staff
- EMR: TBD
Requirements
- Board Certified Family Medicine
- Active Alabama license required
- DEA required
- BLS required
Additional Details
- Travel and lodging provided
- Credentialing takes approximately 2–3 weeks
- Phone interview required
- Fast-moving opportunity
