Job Description

Location
Douglas, WY — Level III Trauma hospital

Schedule

  • Coverage: 2 weeks per month
  • Days: Monday–Friday
  • Typical hours: ~7:00 AM–1:00 PM (varies with case volume)
  • No additional call required

Practice setting & caseload

  • Hospital-based: inpatient, outpatient surgery, and Labor & Delivery
  • Trauma Level III
  • Typical volume: 7–10 cases/day
  • Patient mix: mostly adult with light pediatric (no surgical patients under age 3 except L&D/neonatal)

Clinical responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across general, regional, and local techniques
  • Perform regional blocks and epidurals (required)
  • Manage anesthesia for L&D, including neonatal support as needed
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to ensure safe patient care

Requirements

  • CRNA certification
  • Active Wyoming license or IMLC eligibility
  • ACLS (required for conscious sedation privileges)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • Experience with epidurals, regional blocks, general anesthesia, and light pediatric/neonatal cases
