Job Description
Baptist Medical Center Beaches is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Nocturnist to join its Hospitalist team in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
This full-time inpatient position offers a desirable 7-on/7-off night schedule. Responsibilities include overnight admissions, rapid responses, and floor-call coverage. The APP will also provide telehealth support to Baptist Medical Center Nassau from the Beaches campus.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage overnight admissions
- Respond to rapid-response events
- Provide floor-call coverage
- Address changes in hospitalized patients’ conditions
- Collaborate with hospitalists, nurses, and specialists
- Provide telehealth support to Baptist Medical Center Nassau
- Help promote consistent and effective APP practice across hospital campuses
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- One or more years of experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or an ICU
- Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license
- National certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- BLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain
- Valid Florida driver’s license
