You’ll provide patient-centered medical oversight across assigned facilities, partnering with advanced practice providers to manage daily care, coordinate treatments, and ensure quality outcomes. Typical coverage involves visiting each facility 1–2 days per week; there are no overnight shifts and no call responsibilities, so you can have a predictable schedule.
Current local facility opportunities: Henderson, Kinston, and Snow Hill, NC.
Additional opportunities exist nationwide in: GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, OH, TN, and WI.
What you can expect:
- Part-time schedule with flexible start/end times
- Approximately 18–25 visits per day
- Collaborative practice environment with NPs and PAs
- No call and no overnight shifts
- Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation
- Supportive onboarding—new grads who are board-eligible and working toward licensure are encouraged to apply
Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive pay with earning potential above industry benchmarks
- Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive
- Performance-based bonuses
- Paid time off, 401(k) with employer match
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible physicians
- Employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage (short- and long-term) for eligible physicians
- CME allowance and licensure reimbursement
- Company-provided iPad with LTE and a professional lab coat
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
If you want a part-time position that provides clinical leadership, flexibility, and the ability to make a real difference in post-acute and long-term care, this opportunity in Ayden and surrounding communities could be a great fit.
