Medical Director / Attending Physician — Hospitalist (Skilled Nursing Facilities), Mishawaka IN

In this full-time role you’ll provide clinical leadership and hands-on care for post-acute and long-term care patients, working closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. What the schedule looks like

• Full-time with a flexible schedule
• Physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed start or end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
• Expect about 18–25 patient visits per day
• Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation
• New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in skilled nursing settings
• Partner with NPs and PAs to manage continuity of care
• Offer clinical oversight and leadership within assigned facilities
• Make timely, compassionate decisions to support the health and well-being of residents

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication and leadership skills, excellent clinical decision-making
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
