Job Description

We’re looking for a full-time Attending Physician to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across the Lima, Ohio area. This flexible role is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy, enjoys team-based collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the health of older adults. You’ll oversee assigned residents’ medical care, work closely with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and help lead quality initiatives — all without on-call or overnight duties.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the Attending Physician for residents in designated skilled nursing facilities
  • Collaborate with NPs and PAs to deliver comprehensive, team-based care and clinical oversight
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, creating individualized care plans
  • Participate in programs such as Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, and other quality improvement efforts
  • Use an efficient EHR supported by voice dictation, AI-powered scribe tools, and UpToDate® for real-time decision support

Requirements

  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
