Part‑Time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Skilled Nursing Facilities (Tiptonville, TN)

Provide patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Dickson and Tiptonville, Tennessee as part of a growing clinical team. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, no overnight or on-call duties, and close collaboration with physicians and facility staff to deliver evidence-based care.

Key details

• Part-time with flexible scheduling; six-hour facility shifts
• Rounds typically start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight shifts
• Manage an average of 15–20 patient visits per day
• Conduct daily rounds, assess and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and create treatment plans
• Work alongside nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• NP board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN) or PA certification (NCCPA)
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
