Urgent Care Physician (Civil Surgeon) — Philadelphia, PA

Seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician to join a new center in Philadelphia, PA. The physician will deliver high-quality, patient-centered urgent care and perform immigration physicals as a designated Civil Surgeon.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for a diverse outpatient population, diagnosing and managing acute and non-emergency conditions
• Perform immigration (I-693) physicals in accordance with Civil Surgeon protocols
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Coordinate care with other providers and arrange appropriate referrals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Work every other weekend (schedule designed to meet patient demand)

Requirements

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted PA medical license
• Minimum 4 years post-residency experience (required for Civil Surgeon eligibility)
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Prior urgent care clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills
