TeamHealth is seeking an exceptional physician leader to serve as hospital medicine program director at Bristol Regional Medical Center, a premier Ballad Health facility serving the Appalachian Highlands. Position Highlights
- Medical and administrative leadership of the hospital medicine program
- Oversight of physician recruitment, retention, mentoring, and professional development
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient experience strategies
- Collaborate with executive leadership on operational and strategic goals
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and physician engagement
- Support ongoing growth and program expansion opportunities
- Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hospital medicine experience
- Prior leadership experience as medical director, associate director, chief hospitalist, or similar role preferred but not required
- Proven success in quality improvement and physician engagement
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and operational leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring physicians and advancing patient-centered care
