Locums Hospitalist — 300+ Bed Manchester NH, Flexible Day/Swing/Night Shifts, No Vent/Call

We are seeking a Locum Hospital Medicine Physician to join a busy hospital team in Manchester, New Hampshire. This hospital-based role offers flexible coverage across day, swing, and nocturnal shifts to support ongoing inpatient needs.

Highlights

• Large acute-care facility (300+ beds) with a daily census of ~140–160 and ~25–30 admissions per 24 hours
• Diverse adult patient population with an open ICU (rounding in ICU as needed)
• Average daily patient census per physician: 18–22
• No procedures or ventilator management required
• No call responsibilities

Shift options

• Day Hospitalist: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Swing Shift: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM (may extend to 5:00 AM with volume)
• Nocturnist: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage may be required based on scheduling needs

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care: evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized adults
• Perform daily rounds, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage admissions
• Coordinate care with consultants and the multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and transitions of care
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active New Hampshire medical license and DEA registration
• BLS certification
