- Weekend call blocks -- pager-based, not in-house call
- Sporadic weekends may continue on an ongoing basis
- 1,500 deliveries per year -- active OB/GYN practice
- 32% C-section rate with four scheduled procedures per day
- Level 2 maternal designation facility
- Hospital privileges required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
