Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage at Cambridge, Ohio. Immediate day and night 12-hour shifts are available, with additional ongoing coverage expected.

Assignment details

• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
• Coverage: Locum tenens; ongoing need
• Shift length: 12 hours (day and night)
• Schedule: Current needs include:
  • Nov 9–16: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shifts)
  • Nov 22–25: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shifts)
  • Additional day and night shifts anticipated beyond these dates
• EMR: Facility system
• Orientation: Weekday orientation required prior to first shift

Core responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care for acute illness and injury
• Stabilize and manage emergent and critically ill patients
• Perform appropriate emergency procedures
• Manage a broad spectrum of emergency presentations
• Coordinate patient care with nursing, APPs, consultants, and inpatient teams
• Determine appropriate admission, discharge, or transfer dispositions
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with onsite clinical and administrative staff
