Join a high-performing surgical team at an ACS-Verified Level I Trauma Center in Palm Springs, California, as a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Trauma, Acute Care, and Surgical Critical Care Surgeon. This role blends trauma, emergency general, and acute care surgery with comprehensive surgical critical care in a high-volume academic and teaching environment.

Academic and teaching responsibilities
- Teach and mentor general surgery residents and surgical critical care fellows
- Provide operative instruction across trauma, emergency, and elective cases
- Participate in M&M conferences, simulation, didactics, and ACGME meetings
- Support progressive resident/fellow autonomy based on training level
- Opportunities to engage in research, quality improvement, and program development

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care
- Experience or strong interest in resident and fellow education
- Participation in trauma quality improvement, research, or academic initiatives
