Lead FNP/PA — Urgent Care Lead Provider in Westbrook, ME (Leadership, Mentorship, $135–290k)

We’re looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Westbrook, Maine urgent care team as the Lead Provider. If you thrive in a fast-paced urgent care setting, enjoy hands-on patient care, and are ready to step into a leadership role supporting fellow clinicians and clinical staff, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the urgent care spectrum using evidence-based approaches for acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions.
• Act as the clinical leader for the practice, setting and promoting consistent standards for quality and patient safety.
• Mentor, coach, and precept new-graduate FNPs and PAs while serving as a clinical resource for experienced providers and allied health staff.
• Support onboarding, ongoing education, and professional development for the team.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and medical assistants to create an efficient, patient-focused urgent care environment.

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $135,000–$290,000

What we’re looking for

• Current Family NP or PA certification and state licensure
• Solid clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or a related setting
• Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to develop and support early-career providers
