Radiology Physician — Chief of Radiology, Diagnostic, Breast Imaging & Interventional (Brown University Health)

Southeastern Massachusetts / hospital-based practice near Providence, RI (Brown University Health).

Open roles (four)

Chief of Radiology (leadership)

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the radiology department while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Lead growth initiatives, physician engagement, quality improvement, and service-line development.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, performance metrics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Diagnostic Radiologist

• Provide diagnostic imaging services across CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and radiography.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care, quality assurance, and teaching activities affiliated with Brown University Health.
• Opportunity to develop subspecialty interests.

Breast Imaging Radiologist

• Provide screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures.
• Work within a multidisciplinary breast care team to deliver patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.

Interventional Radiologist

• Perform a full spectrum of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in a procedure-focused practice.
• Opportunities to expand services and contribute to program growth.

Compensation & benefits

• Chief of Radiology: $475,000–$550,000
• Diagnostic & Breast Imaging Radiologist: $475,000–$535,000
• Interventional Radiologist: $490,000–$550,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (IR certification for Interventional role)
• Fellowship training or strong clinical experience in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology, as applicable
• Prior leadership experience preferred for Chief role
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
