Practice Overview

• Well-established, growing gastroenterology practice treating adults and patients 12+
• Team: 5 physicians, 13 advanced practice providers, ~35 support staff
• In-house infusion suite (up to 10 patients)
• Uses latest high-definition endoscopy equipment; designated ASGE Center of Excellence

Clinical Scope & Procedures

• Typical mix: ~80% inpatient/procedures, ~20% clinic
• Procedures offered: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP (preferred, not required; mentorship available), BRAVO, capsule endoscopy, radiofrequency ablation (HALO), Stretta, infusion therapy, hepatitis C treatment

Call & Schedule

• Call rotation: 1 week every 5–6 weeks
• Call coverage: 7‑day stretch from Monday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM, with two night covers during that week
• Generous PTO and CME days

Status

• Full time
• Accepts J‑1 waiver and H‑1B candidates for 2027 and beyond

Qualifications

• MD or DO from accredited medical school
• Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology (American or Canadian boards accepted)
• Broad gastroenterology skill set with willingness to learn new techniques and procedures
• ERCP skills preferred; mentorship provided if needed
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license, required credentials, and DEA registration
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and interpersonal skills
