Spine-Focused Neurosurgeon (8090% Spine) — Regional Neurosciences Institute, Northeast PA — Full-Time, Sign-On Bonus

We’re seeking a spine-focused neurosurgeon to join a busy regional referral center serving nearly one million people. This is a full-time position with a case mix that’s roughly 80–90% spine and 10–20% cranial, offering high clinical volume, complex spine pathology, and the support of a respected nonprofit health network.

Practice environment

• Join the region’s premier Neurosciences Institute at a regional referral center.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team that includes six neurosurgeons (one cerebrovascular/endovascular specialist), neurohospitalists, neurologists, neuroradiology and neurointerventional neurology colleagues, and an experienced APP team.
• Strong APP support in clinic, OR, and inpatient settings for efficient workflows.
• Fully integrated Epic EMR across the health system.
• Practice at a Level II Trauma Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• A robust primary care referral network ensures steady patient volume and good continuity of care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency program.
• Fellowship in spine is a plus but not required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and necessary hospital credentials.
• DEA certification.
