Locums OB/GYN Physician — Weekday Clinic Schedule, Low Volume, Strong Team Support (Alpena, MI)

Location: Alpena, Michigan

Assignment: Locums OB/GYN — weekday clinic and procedural coverage

Schedule

• Mon–Thu: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Fri: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
• Clinic volume: ~2 patients/hour (varies by appointment length)

Clinical support

• Three nurses per shift
• Midwife available beginning in September to assist with call coverage

Clinical duties & procedures

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care
• Perform: suction D&C, laparoscopy, cesarean sections, tubal ligations, circumcisions
• Read and interpret NSTs

Systems

• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve certification within 5 years)
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Recent case logs documenting:
  • ≥50 deliveries in the past 12 months
  • ≥25 GYN procedures in the past 12 months
• Michigan license preferred; candidates in the IMLC will be considered
