Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon — Fallon, NV (Hospital-Based, Joint Surgery)

We’re looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Fallon, Nevada. This hospital-based role requires 24-hour orthopedic coverage and includes call, clinic, and surgical responsibilities. The position focuses on general adult orthopedics with an emphasis on total joint procedures.

Compensation

• $3,195 per day

What the role entails

• 24-hour orthopedic coverage, including call
• Inpatient and outpatient clinic duties
• Surgical coverage in a hospital setting
• General orthopedic surgery with a focus on adult patients and total joint procedures
• Ongoing need: typically 1–2 weeks of coverage per month

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Experience in general orthopedics and total joint procedures
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one
• Comfortable practicing independently in a hospital-based environment
