Locums OB/GYN Physician — Weekday Clinic in Alpena, MI; Low Volume, Strong Clinical Support

Provide outpatient and procedural OB/GYN coverage in Alpena, Michigan, with a steady weekday clinic schedule, manageable patient volume, and an experienced clinical support team.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
• Clinic volume: ~2 patients per hour (varies by appointment length)

Clinical support

• Three nurses per shift
• Midwife available beginning in September to assist with call coverage

Core responsibilities and procedures

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
• Perform procedures including suction D&C, laparoscopy, cesarean section, tubal ligation, and circumcision
• Interpret nonstress tests (NSTs)

Systems

• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Recent case logs showing at least 50 deliveries and 25 GYN procedures within the past 12 months
• Michigan medical license preferred; candidates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered
