Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Methuen/Greater Merrimack Valley

We are hiring a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for a broad spectrum of non-emergent urgent care conditions. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Locations

• Multiple sites: Beverly, Swampscott, Methuen, North Andover, Haverhill (assignments may vary).

Schedule

• Centers open seven days per week.
• Weekdays: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM; Weekends: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Full-time defined as 36 hours/week. Part-time options available.

Compensation & benefits

• Hourly pay: $75–$85.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with non-emergent urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications within scope of practice and state law.
• Provide patient education, follow-up instructions, and referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinic policies.

Required qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• Board certification: Family Medicine PA or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP.
• Current or eligible Massachusetts licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS required; ACLS required.
• Prior urgent care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; patient-focused approach.
