Locum Tenens Neurosurgeon — Trauma & Acute Care (Corpus Christi, TX)

What you’ll do

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage, managing emergency and inpatient cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider
• Maintain high-quality patient care and documentation in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• New, state-of-the-art hospital with advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
• ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center and accredited Stroke Center
• Supportive, collaborative clinical culture with robust subspecialty backup

Schedule and support

• Per diem opportunity: 4–7 flexible, 24-hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement beyond scheduled shifts
• Dedicated locums consultant to assist with credentialing and scheduling

What we’re looking for

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Current Texas medical license, or ability to obtain one
• Active experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & benefits

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift
