Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Westbrook, Maine urgent care team as a Lead Provider. This role combines hands-on urgent care practice with clinical leadership, mentoring, and a commitment to high-quality, efficient patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and common conditions seen in urgent care.
- Serve as the clinical leader and primary resource for providers and clinical staff, promoting consistent clinical standards, patient safety, and quality care.
- Mentor, coach, and support new-graduate and early-career FNPs/PAs; offer guidance to experienced providers and allied health professionals.
- Lead onboarding, education, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and medical assistants to maintain an efficient, patient-centered urgent care environment.
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive salary range: $135,000–$290,000

Qualifications
- Current Family NP or PA certification and appropriate state licensure
- Strong clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or a related setting
- Prior leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to foster team-based care
