Job Description
Join a community-focused pediatric practice serving Central and Northern New Jersey. Seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work primarily from our Perth Amboy office. Optional coverage at North Bergen available but not required.
Key responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric care.
- Conduct newborn hospital rounding ~every 6 weeks (no deliveries or C-section coverage).
- Manage routine well-child visits, sick visits, immunizations, and developmental assessments.
- Communicate with families and coordinate care with physicians and support staff.
Schedule
- Full-time, 5-day work week.
- Every-other-Saturday rotation; one weekday off during weeks that include Saturday.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree and current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active or eligible New Jersey license.
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Spanish proficiency preferred to serve a large Hispanic patient population.
Compensation & benefits
- Salary $130,000–$140,000 DOE.
- Quarterly performance bonus.
