Job Description

Brown University–affiliated community hospital, located just outside Providence, RI and serving the southeast/south coast of MA, seeks a full‑time Chief of Radiology. This senior leadership position combines clinical practice, administrative oversight, and academic engagement with Brown University.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for radiology services across multiple community hospital sites
  • Oversee quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and performance metrics
  • Lead service-line growth, technology adoption, and process improvement initiatives
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop radiology staff; foster multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Maintain a clinical practice and participate in teaching and academic activities with Brown University

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., section chief, medical director)
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team‑building skills
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
