Locum Tenens Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Twin Falls, ID (Level III Trauma Center)

A well-established healthcare facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide high-quality care in a Level III trauma center. This role involves managing a broad spectrum of acute musculoskeletal injuries in both the emergency department and inpatient settings, with the opportunity to perform operative and non-operative fracture care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage traumatic orthopedic injuries in a Level III trauma environment
• Provide consultations for ED and inpatient cases and participate in trauma call coverage
• Perform operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and surgical support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation and benefits:

• $3,850 per shift (generous, above-market rate)
• All travel arrangements arranged and booked by the group in addition to the per-shift rate
• Medical malpractice and tail coverage provided
• Dedicated locum consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling
