Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon — 24Hour Hospital Coverage (Fallon, NV)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Fallon, Nevada. This hospital-based position provides 24-hour orthopedic coverage including call, inpatient and outpatient clinic duties, and operative responsibilities. The primary focus is general adult orthopedics with an emphasis on total joint procedures. Ongoing need: 1–2 weeks per month.

Compensation and benefits

• $3,195 per day
• Above-market hourly rate
• Travel arrangements coordinated and booked by the group, in addition to per-shift pay
• Professional liability and tail coverage provided
• Dedicated locum consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 24-hour orthopedic coverage including call
• Manage inpatient and outpatient clinics
• Perform surgical cases in the hospital setting, primarily general adult orthopedics and total joint arthroplasty
• Practice independently in a hospital-based environment

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Proven experience in general orthopedics and total joint procedures
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one
• Comfortable working independently in a hospital setting
