Urgent Care Physician Martinsburg, WV (3x12-Hour Rotating Shifts, Multi-Site)

Join a busy, multi-site urgent care network serving Martinsburg, WV, as a flexible, patient-centered physician who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role offers variety across locations and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering efficient, evidence-based care.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute illnesses and minor injuries in a walk-in urgent care setting. The schedule is three rotating 12-hour shifts per week, covering weekdays, weekends, and holidays (clinics open daily 8:00 AM–8:00 PM; closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas). Open availability and comfort floating between multiple clinic sites are required. No overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, compassionate urgent care using evidence-based practices
• Assess and treat acute medical conditions and minor trauma
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between clinics as scheduled
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA registration required by start date
• Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
