Non-Invasive Cardiologist — Academic-Track, Multi-State Practice (Martinsburg, WV)

Join an established and growing cardiovascular program in Eastern West Virginia as a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered non-invasive and general cardiology care across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating closely with interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The role includes clinical coverage at affiliated sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as needed to support regional access and continuity of care. There is also an opportunity to participate in resident education and support the program’s academic mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Cover clinical services at assigned affiliated worksites across WV, MD, and PA as needed
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and apply evidence-based practice
• Optionally participate in teaching and mentoring residents

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia; ability to obtain licensure in Maryland and Pennsylvania as required
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
• Interest in academic medicine and resident education preferred
