Job Description
We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced physician to serve as Medical Director/Attending Physician for skilled nursing facilities in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the care of post-acute and long-term patients. You’ll work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide patient-centered care while offering clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.
What you can expect
- Part-time schedule with physicians typically covering each facility 1–2 days per week
- No fixed daily start or end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
- Average of 18–25 visits per day
- New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are welcome to apply
- Company-provided iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation
- A focus on work-life balance and meaningful clinical impact
Locations
- Local opportunity in Goldsboro, NC, plus additional facility openings across the U.S.: GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, OH, TN, and WI.

Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
- A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
