Locum Emergency Medicine Physician — Nashville, TN (6+ Month OnSite Contract)

We are seeking an on-site Locums Emergency Medicine physician for an ongoing assignment in Nashville, Tennessee (minimum 6 months). The role is based in a 12-bed emergency department with a manageable patient volume and full scope of emergency practice.

Position highlights:

• Duration: ongoing assignment, minimum 6 months
• Shifts: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• No call responsibilities
• 12-bed ED with census under 30 patients per day and fewer than 10 admissions daily
• Full range of emergency procedures performed on site

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the ED
• Manage acute and emergent medical conditions and stabilize patients
• Perform emergency procedures as indicated, including procedural sedation, endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and other standard ED interventions within scope of practice
• Determine disposition and coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, and follow-up care
• Maintain timely, accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency
• ABEM certification or eligibility required
• Active Tennessee medical license or ability to obtain one
