Locums Heart Failure NP/PA — Inpatient Cardiology (No Call, Nov ’26–Jan ’27)

Join a well-established inpatient cardiology team at a respected 300-bed Level II Trauma Center in Salt Lake City. This temporary role supports the Heart Failure service during a maternity leave and is a great fit for an experienced Heart Failure NP or PA who enjoys managing complex cardiac patients in a collaborative hospital environment. The hospital is nationally recognized for cardiovascular care and clinical excellence.

What you’ll be doing

• Round daily on hospitalized heart failure patients and manage their inpatient care.
• Perform heart failure evaluations and adjust management plans.
• Optimize guideline-directed medical therapy and lead coordinated discharge planning.
• Work closely with cardiologists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Chart in EPIC.

What we’re looking for

• Active Utah NP or PA license and Utah DEA registration.
• Heart failure certification or demonstrable HF experience required.
• Recent inpatient cardiology/heart failure management experience.
• Comfortable independently managing hospitalized heart failure patients in a fast-paced setting.
