Job Description

Join a growing rural healthcare team in Berlin, New Hampshire, as a full-time outpatient neurologist who values community-focused care, clinical autonomy, and long-term patient relationships. You’ll see adolescents (16+) and adults in a collaborative setting where meaningful work and work–life balance go hand in hand.

What you’ll do

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care for new and established patients across a broad range of conditions, including migraine and headache disorders, memory and cognitive concerns, essential tremor, Parkinson’s disease, dizziness, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and polyneuropathy.
  • Diagnose, manage, and create individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests available on-site.
  • Interpret EEGs (highly preferred) and perform/interpret NCS/EMG studies (highly preferred).
  • Administer Botox injections for appropriate indications (highly preferred).
  • Educate and counsel patients and families, coordinate care and referrals with cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, therapy and other specialties.
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

Schedule and practice setting

  • Full-time, typically 4–4.5 days per week in an outpatient, rural Critical Access Hospital environment.
  • On-site diagnostic testing and a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Special clinical interests are welcome.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited neurology residency.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA).
  • 2–5 years of general neurology experience preferred, though recent graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfortable practicing in a rural setting with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus wRVU productivity.
  • Good citizenship bonus up to $15,000, commencement bonus, student loan reimbursement, and relocation assistance.
  • Generous time off: 5 weeks vacation plus sick time; 2 weeks CME with up to $4,500 CME allowance.
