Locum Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist — Outpatient Pediatric Psychiatry (Mansfield, CT)

Join a well-established behavioral health team in Mansfield Center, Connecticut, where you'll provide outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents across a wide range of mental health needs. You'll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that supports thorough, patient-centered care.

What the role looks like

• Outpatient setting with a typical caseload of about 10–12 patients per day
• Expect to handle roughly 2 discharges each day
• Part of a program that includes 28 total beds
• You’ll treat children and adolescents with all types of mental health diagnoses
• Strong emphasis on working closely with therapists, nurses, and other providers

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage medications over time
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with the treatment team to ensure integrated care delivery
• Take an active role in discharge planning and ensuring continuity of care
• Keep clear, timely clinical documentation

What we’re looking for

• Board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Comfortable practicing in an outpatient environment
• Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut
