Outpatient Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant — Casper, WY

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology practice in Casper, Wyoming where you’ll work with a collaborative team of GI specialists and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule and strong support—perfect for work-life balance. Prior GI experience isn’t required; clinicians with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What the role looks like

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Typical patient load: ~12–16 patients per day
• Hospital rounding: None
• Outreach: Occasional travel to outreach clinics as needed (100% travel reimbursement)

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions in adults
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits; create individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab studies
• Educate patients about disease management, medications, and preventive care
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to deliver patient-centered care
• Provide care at outreach clinic locations when required

Compensation & benefits

• Target annual compensation: $170,000–$200,000 (Base salary $110,000–$120,000 plus a 45% production bonus)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as an NP or PA
• Active Wyoming NP or PA license, or eligibility for licensure
• GI or adult internal medicine experience preferred but not required
