Job Description

Join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Brooklyn, New York as a full-time Vascular Surgeon. This role offers a diverse case mix, advanced surgical technology, and close collaboration with cardiology, interventional radiology, nephrology, and critical care teams. The physician will provide the full spectrum of open and endovascular vascular surgery services and deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage vascular surgery patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
  • Perform open and endovascular procedures (elective and emergent)
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care with subspecialists and ancillary services
  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical documentation, and on-call coverage as assigned
  • Engage in education and professional development activities

Required qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of accredited General Surgery residency plus Vascular Surgery fellowship, or completion of an Integrated Vascular Surgery residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience with both open and endovascular vascular procedures
  • Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • DEA registration and New York Controlled Substance license (or eligibility)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and effective communication
